Mommy Power is an online community for moms that focuses on anything and everything positive about mothers. Amazing things are accomplished by moms each and every day. Most of these accomplishments go unnoticed, and many times unappreciated, so I wanted to bring these accomplishments to light. Mommy Power features inspirational motherhood stories and links to positive news stories in the media about mothers. I realized early on that I’m more interested in hearing stories from other mothers, rather than my own. I love hearing the experiences of other mommies through the stories they submit. I am able to see things from a whole different perspective that I would have otherwise never come across. I also love that Mommy Power has created a place that features positive mommy stories in the media. Have you ever Googled the terms “mom” or “mother” in a Google news search? You turn up mostly depressing tales and horror stories. We know the good things that mommies do every day-and there should be more of a focus in the mainstream media on the positive stories about mothers. I’m proud that Mommy Power has provided a venue for this. If you have an inspirational mommy story, I would love to hear it!
