Free Download For Background GONE
I’m sorry to say that I can’t offer free Motorola Droid backgrounds for download on my site anymore. Too many people are hot-linking to my downloads and sucking up my bandwidth. I’m very disappointed that so many people would do this and ruin it for people who are actually downloading the Droid backgrounds to their own phone and using them for what they are supposed to be used for. So, maybe in the future I will offer some freebies like this again but not in the same manner.

I’ve just uploaded some new Droid backgrounds that you can download for free. Check them out at http://sweetboutiquedesign.com/blog/2010/02/free-boutique-droid-wallpaper-backgrounds/. I’ll be adding more when I can find time to make them. If you’re not sure what size wallpaper is the correct size for your Droid, it’s 960×854 pixels. When you’re using your Droid to download these wallpapers, they automatically download to your phone when you click on the download button for each individual wallpaper. Enjoy!

WordPress for Android 1.0 Release
I’ve just installed the new WordPress for Android 1.0 app on my Droid phone and love it. It’s so easy to update my blog. You can download the app in the Marketplace on your Droid phone by Searching for “wordpress” and download the app by Automattic, Inc. OR visit the download page and scan the barcode with the barcode scanner app (if you have it installed).
Some of the features include the ability to:
- Configure and manage multiple blogs
- Comment moderation including the ability to reply to comments
- Create and Edit Posts including categories, tags and photos
- Create and Edit Pages
- Get notified of new comments in the Android notification bar
