Spring/Summer 2010 Custom Design Availability – Please Read

No new custom design work with be scheduled until beginning of July 2010.
Current clients, please check with me for availability of any new maintenance work.

Boutique Logo Design for In The Loop

I’m working on a new site design for In the Loop Yarn Shop in Norfolk, MA. I’ve re-designed their logo for print use and for the upcoming re-design for their website. This new boutique logo design is bold and conveys the sophisticated look that their Yarn Shop Storefront conveys. This logo was designed and drawn in Illustrator CS4. Look for the new In the Loop website design very soon!

Cake Makes a Party

Cake Makes a Party was a very fun boutique illustrated site to design and customize. I used Illustrator CS4 for the logo design and illustrations and Photoshop CS4 for the .psd template design. The business card design and custom logo a unique online presence for Kathy Brannan’s custom cake business in Tennessee. All graphics, illustration, web development and design are one of a kind custom designed originals for Cake Makes a Party.

There is currently a waiting list until January 2010 for all custom design work. I can schedule any work to start in January 2010. I have a full schedule through the end of the year.

Illustration Friday “Craving”

This is my contribution for Illustration Friday’s topic this week “craving”. All I can think about are cupcakes with chocolate frosting. Maybe it’s because I’m trying not to eat so many sweets and really stick to healthy eating. These cupcakes are on a pedastal for a reason. I crave what I can’t have. This was drawn in Illustrator CS3.

Classy Sudz® is a recent boutique web design project I’ve just completed. Cathy wanted an eCommerce store to sell her handmade soaps as well as a matching blog to keep her customers informed of her newest products.

I always have so much fun designing such girly and pink sites Classy Sudz® is a handmade soap company. You will find many wonderful and yummy soaps for all occasions.

Client: Cathy from Classy Sudz®

Project: eCommerce web design, custom blog theme, custom graphics and logo design (see image to left). Using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop CS3 for all graphics and logo design.

Custom Penguin Illustration

I just finished up a custom illustration for Pink Shopaholic. Jane from Pink Shopaholic, wanted me to draw a penguin that resembled a Beanie Baby she had seen and make her running to a sale. This little penguin was so much fun to create. I used Adobe Illustrator CS3 to create this vector illustration (as I do with all of my illustrations). Eventually, this little penguin will have a groom and look like she will be ready to walk down the isle. But for now “Pink” as the penguin is called will be shopping away until her big day.

Girly Character Illustrations

I will be soon offering premade character illustrations at Sweet Boutique Design. I’ve been working on quite a few illustrations in my spare time. I’ve decided to offer premade characters including women, school – aged girls and a baby illustration. The premade illustrations will be for personal and commercial use and will have 2 pricing tiers accordingly. If you would like to be notified when they will be available for purchase, please Contact Me. The illustrations will be a set price and no changes will be offered on any designs, BUT, a custom illustration can be commissioned. You can have any type of character illustration made for your boutique or blog. You can have clothing, hair, makeup, poses, shoes and more customized in your illustration. If you need scene created with your character, additional charges will apply.

Birdie Boutique Web Template

Birdie Boutique is a new boutique web template that I’ve just added to my premade templates section of Sweet Boutique Design. It’s a hand drawn design that’s sure to make any online boutique look super cute! I designed it in Photoshop CS3 and it is a tableless CSS, fixed width template for use with my compatible hosts. I will be making a matching WordPress theme as time permits.
